    Description

In 1897 Uruguay issued a series of postal cards for various postal uses. This is the 2cts brown on pink listed in the Higgins and Gage Catalogue as #47 and intended for use within Uruguay. The card was mailed in the town of Durazno on April 13, 1903 with Montevideo as its final destination. The front of the card was canceled in Durazno (at the upper left) with a circular dated strike and with a similar type of cancel at the upper right of the reverse when it arrived in Montevideo on April 14. These cards are uncommon in used condition.
Although I checked "Returns Not Accepted" on the eBay form, I will of course accept returns if items are not as described
