Universal Audio 6176 Channel Strip *MINT* Why Buy New? Defacto Studio Standard. Condition is "Used". This is a really nice strip, but I have 3 and the other 2 are matched, so this one is odd man out for my stereo mix buss purposes. Original Owner. The unit is hardly used as I'm just one person. (Personal note; when this pre is paired with a TLM series Neumann mic (47, 67,102, 103, 107, 127, etc., it really shines and saves thousands compared to the 'tube' series mics.)
The 6176 can be found in almost every studio around the world and is the defacto standard for snare, bass drum, bass, vocals, guitar amps, etc. From Adele to Van Halen, the 610B + 1176LN combo is a winner.
This is not a factory refurb with possibly diminished components. The unit has been racked with a UPS into a Furman P1800AR power conditioner to a PL-PLUS power conditioner for clean quiet operation. The unit was also racked properly with air flow on top and the bottom per pic.
