Part of the edge card was damaged , which means it cannot be put into a console , but , makes it ideal for being made into a rack mounted channel strip . these are actually far easier than the modules from a 4000 series to rack mount . The part of the edge card that is damaged is only for the multitrack bus outs , which would be unnecessary for a rack mounted strip.
