This is an incredibly rare Ronald Reagan Briefcased Presidential Golf Set gifted to a close friend of the President. President Reagan was an avid golfer and enjoyed occasional executive indoor golf in the Oval Office and aboard Air Force One. On occasion, Reagan would gift close friends, trusted associates and VIPs with one of these Presidential Seal briefcased indoor golf sets. The c

briefcase measures approx. 13.0" x 11.0" x 3.0", and features a brass handle, latch and hinges, and is emblazoned with the Presidential Seal in gold. Inside, the case features custom foam cutouts with a four-piece, easy-to-assembled putter, two golf balls and a golf ring (cup). In addition to a brass latch, the case top is also held in place with magnets installed within the framing. The briefcased Presidential golf set weighs just under 4 pounds, and is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, splitting, dents, holes, discoloration, or damage inside or out, and only minor, isolated surface wear. All components are present and the set appears to have been lightly used or never used. Overall, the condition is exceptional for an item that originated in the Reagan Years. An extremely limited number of these Presidential golf sets were produced and are highly coveted Presidential collectibles. To find a complete set in virtually new condition is unprecedented.
