Pre-Pro Fairchild's Excelsior Gin Early Aqua Square Bottle
Here's a fine old (circa 1870-1880) hinge mold, applied lip gin bottle in a bright aqua color. It is very clean and we find no chips or cracks. The embossing is found on three sides and reads: Fairchild's / Excelsior / Gin. The fourth panel shows no actual embossing, but there is clear evidence that embossing has been peened out of the mold. About 10 inches tall. Applied lip, smooth hinge mold base. Here's a nice early one!
