Here's an amber whiskey in a form not usually seen in spirits bottles. It is a tall, narrow, straight-sided cylinder with a pronounced shoulder and short neck. It stands about 11 1/2 inches tall. Tooled lip, smooth base with an embossed diamond in which the initials IPGCO (Illinois Pacific Glass Co.) are embossed. We find no chips or cracks, and the bottle is very clean. Some light, scattered scratches and rubs are found. An eye-pleasing monogram, centered within the embossing, adds a very attractive facet to this nice old California whiskey.
