This is an original, vintage GEORGE W. BUSH White House Presidential Guest Pin gifted to a member of the Bush (43) Administration who worked in the White House. These pins were issued by the Secret Service to vetted White House guests who were cleared for access to the President. The pin was required to be worn at all times while in the White House and returned upon departure. The hexagonal pin measures approx 1.0" x 1.0", is made of gold-tone metal and green enamel, and is emblazoned with
PRESIDENTIAL GUEST and the Presidential Seal, and numbered with 083 appearing on the back-side of the pin
. For security purposes, pin designs were occasionally modified. Vintage numbered Bush 43 White House Presidential Guest Pins are exceptionally rare and especially prized.
