Flush Smooth with Handle, Latches and Steel Link Assemblies
Handle is inside the bed so the outside has a smooth, flush look, much like the look of a Styleside tailgate with a smooth tailgate cover. This tailgate is a complete kit that includes the two latches to be installed on the tailgate with internal handle mechanism, and the link assembly to hold the tailgate level when opened. These straps (links) fold up and are hidden inside the tailgate ends when the tailgate is closed. Links in this kit are made of zinc-plated steel. Tailgate hinges designed specifically for this tailgate are included. A customizing kit is also included to convert original bed sides to work with the handle and latching mechanism. Installation of this tailgate requires modification to bed sides. Bed sides are also available with custom bed side upgrades that have the latch & link mechanism already installed. 16 gage electro galvanized steel. Ready to primer and paint.
