This listing is for a copy of asigned
letter written by Gordon Novel
and a courtroom statement made by him.
He died in 2012. He was alleged by JFK author Robert Cutler to
have been the so-called 'umbrella man' [TUM] in Dealey Plaza on 11.22.63.
In the handwritten letter, among else, Novel states his knowledge of
the custom-made bullets & type of rifle used from behind the picket
fence, as well as who the shooter was there and his backup. Novel also
names the handful of major players at CIA behind the assassination. He
also writes that the House Select Committee On Assassinations [HSCA] was
intended as a coverup of a coverup.
Related to the letter is a court transcript dated prior to his writing the letter where
he states in open court that he worked with numbers of federal agents committing
untold criminal acts to quash the uncovering of the assassination, for which he
stated he could have been given a hundred years.
Novel also writes in the letter about his innovating some aerospace technology.
JFK author Jim diEugenio ran it by a physics professor out his way in Callie & was told it
seemed feasible.
In the mid-1990s I called a field office of the FBI & related the rough substance of
the letter & asked what he thought. This is pretty close: That's pretty damned good stuff.
After coming in to meet with him he said he was putting a meeting together with some suits.
My bet is he was more surprised than me it never happened.
