Civil War Confederate Soldier's Uniform Nice Heavy Duty Used in Movie Gettysburg
Great Halloween Costume, outfit or for Civil War reenactment.
Includes: Hat, Vest, Pants with suspenders, Coat, Sash.
Size is approximately a 42 (XL). See pictures This is me and I am 6' tall, 183 lbs. I wear an XL jacket. Pants are about a 34" to 36" waist (adjustable) by about 32" length. Hat size is a Large, a little tight on me as I am an extra large, but it fits.
This is a heavy duty well made uniform, not one of those cheap ones. Coat, vest and pants are made with wool, not sure if it is 100% wool or a blend. Buttons are nice heavy duty and appear to be brass.
Overall excellent condition without any tears, large stains, etc.  Needs a good pressing (or steaming) as it was stored in a box, to remove wrinkles. Note: light staining around leather suspender loops onto pants. Also missing 1 button for suspender loop, similar button could be pulled from the fly and never be noticed. All other buttons in good order and most appear to be brass.
Note: this is an actual uniform with coat and hat that was worn in the movie Gettysburg by an extra named Chuck Bess (he is in the last picture where I bought the coat from him at a parking lot sale for a retirement community). Chuck said he was an extra in the movie Gettysburg and he wore the uniform in the film. Also selling a civil war wool coat that was worn by him and used in the film Gettysburg also (see separate ad). Picture was taken with his permission.
Uniform is wrinkled due to being stored in a box, could use a pressing or steaming.
