The 1028 is completely hand-wired using Carnhill (St. Ives) transformers. It has the exact
same mic/line preamp as the 1073, but with significantly more frequencies in the mid and
hi sections. Aside from simply offering more frequency settings to play with, these expanded
EQ sections also allow you to play the mid bell curve directly against the high and low
shelves where they overlap. This capability opens the tone shaping possibilities in very
interesting and musical ways. The 1028 includes the same low pass filter as the 1084,
giving it 28 frequencies.

CABLE RETURN POLICY: Cables must be returned within 30 days in original condition. Returns will only be accepted if items are not as described in the ad's description. All returns must receive a return authorization prior to being sent back. Buyer is responsible for return shipping including insurance. As this is custom built work, a 20% restocking fee applies to all returns. Please make sure you order exactly what you need. We cannot be held responsible for mistakes in ordering -- even if you have just ordered the wrong length cable/cables.
EQUIPMENT RETURN POLICY: 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee -- if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you have a couple of options. Option 1 is a return for store credit (minus any shipping costs). Option 2 is a return for money back minus a 20% restocking fee. Also note that even in the case of store credit, all items must be returned in brand new condition with all packaging materials in tact and looking new. We reserve the right to charge customers for any costs associated with returning boxed goods to sellable condition.
