1965 Hemi Engine 426 Short block Factory original w tag & crate w pistons rods

NOS 1965 426 Hemi replacement short block with pistons, rods, and main bearings.  Comes in the
remainder
of the original factory crate as well.  Has the red replacement tag still on the block.
The engines were made in Marysville Michigan.  The date code on the block is 8-17-65. This one has the high Nickel content in it (the only year for the Nickel). It does have WT stamped on it for being water tested. It is a standard short block with the rods, pistons, main bearings already in it.  It was covered in Cosmoline, however parts have worn off where it was not covered.   If you are restoring a car and need an original engine, then this is what you need. I will not dissemble or sell items from this engine separately.  The original crate measures 30 x 21 x 18.5 inches.  I will put it on a pallet and use a Hi-Lo to load onto the truck.
