    Description

    1913 ILLINOIS Pair License Plates    42129 ILL  13
    Here is a pair of 1913 Illinois plates.  The front plate is a stencil to allow air to flow through to the radiator.  The rear plate was a 2 layer plate. It appears the back layer was removed, probably due to rust, and only the front debossed layer, repainted, remains.  Front measure 13 5/8 X 7.  Plates have extra holes drilled in the middle also.
