    Description

The Most Accurate Canine and Feline Pregnancy RLX Test on the Market Now!
The RLX Text works By measuring the amount of Relaxin hormone in the blood and is able to distinguish between pseudo pregnancy and gestation in Canines, the Test gives a reliable assessment of pregnancy status by detecting the Relaxin hormone that is produced by the developing placenta(s) as early as day 20 days post mating/insemination, a second test should be administered 5 to 7 days later if a negative result has occurred in the first test on day 20 post mating/insemination.
Relaxin is secreted primarily by the placenta, and it is the only hormone specifically associated with canine pregnancy. The presence of significant amounts of Relaxin in dog's serum is considered a reliable indicator of pregnancy, thus, our RLX Canine pregnancy Test can distinguish between pseudo pregnancy and gestation.
    - species: Canine and Feline
    - specimen: Serum, Plasma and fresh whole blood
    - detection limit: 3.8ng/ml
    - it can detect pregnancy as early as 20 days post mating/insemination.
    - 99% accuracy rate.
Test Procedure utilizing fresh WHOLE BLOOD (NO Centrifugation is needed):
1- draw 1-1.5 mL blood from your dog into the provided Blood Tube. 2- immediately aspirate 3 drops of the fresh whole blood with the provided dropper and add them into the Test well (the small round hole of the Test strip)
3- then aspirate 1 drop of the Diluent buffer solution with the second dropper and add it into the Test well (the small round hole of the Test strip) above the 3 drops of the whole blood that were previously added.
    4-
Read test result at 10-15 minutes.
    Te
    st procedure utilizing Serum:
1- draw 1-1.5 mL blood from your dog.
2- leave the blood in the Tube for 10-15 minutes to clot.
3- spin the blood sample in the centrifuge at 4000 rpm for 5 to 7 minutes (If there is no centrifuge available, after collecting the blood, keep the blood collection tube in the refrigerator in a standing position for 3-4 hours till you get a Serum layer then aspirate 2 drops of the Serum and add into the Test well and interpret the result in 5-10 minutes)
4- aspirate 2 drops (100ul) of Serum. 5- add the 2 drops of Serum (100ul) into
the Test well (the small round hole on the Test strip), no buffer solution is needed when utilizing Serum or Plasma.
    6- Interpret
    Test result at 10-15 minutes
    Interpretation of test result:
    - Positive (+):
the presence of both "C" line and zone "T" line.  Faint results must be classified as positive. (Pregnant Canine or Feline)
    -
    Negative (-):
only clear "C" line appear. No T line. (not pregnant)
    - Invalid:
no colored line appears in "C" zone. No matter if "T" line appears. (retest again)
    Please note:
    - if the first Test result was negative (only "C" line appears in the Test window) a second Test after 7 days from the first Test is recommended to confirm if the Dog or the cat is pregnant or not.
    - factors such as breed, size of Canine/Feline, and litter size may influence the level of Blood Relaxin.
    - levels of Relaxin remain elevated throughout gestation and decline quickly following whelping/queeing or abortion.
    - approximately 80% of pregnant bitches are detected between 20 and 28 days post-LH surge, some may not be detected as positive until day 31. Since canine serum have a fertile intrauterine lifespan of 6 to 7 days after breeding.
    - When utilizing Serum, hemolysis samples does not significantly interfere with the test, but strongly hemolyzed samples may partly obscure a weak positive line (due to hemoglobin background).
